Stewart named 32nd WVU head football coach
Less than 24 hours after leading the Mountaineers to a stunning 48-28 victory over Oklahoma in the 2008 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl on Jan. 2, 2008, Bill Stewart was introduced as WVU’s 32nd head football coach in a Jan. 3 news conference at the Scottsdale Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Stewart had served as interim head coach for the last three weeks as WVU prepared to face the Sooners.
